Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the ShopTheRoom.ai mobile application ("App") or website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

ShopTheRoom.ai is a free mobile application that allows users to upload photos of physical spaces, apply AI-generated interior design styles, and discover shoppable products matching the redesigned space. The service is and will remain free to use. There are no subscription tiers, paywalls, or in-app purchases.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App or its outputs in bulk using automated means.
• Commercially resell, sublicense, or redistribute AI-generated designs produced by the App without our written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or tamper with the App or its underlying AI models.
• Upload photos containing illegal content, nudity, graphic violence, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users, our team members, or third-party service providers.
• Use the App in a manner that could impair, disable, overburden, or damage our infrastructure or interfere with other users' enjoyment of the App.

The interior design suggestions, redesigned images, and product recommendations provided by ShopTheRoom.ai are generated by artificial intelligence and are for inspirational and personal use only. They do not constitute professional interior design advice. We make no representations or warranties regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated designs for your specific space.
• The availability, current pricing, or quality of any recommended products.
• Whether products will match your physical space, measurements, or personal preferences.

AI hallucinations: AI systems can produce inaccurate, fabricated, or misleading outputs — commonly referred to as "hallucinations." This includes but is not limited to incorrect product names, prices, dimensions, materials, or design recommendations that do not accurately reflect reality. You should independently verify any product or design information before making a purchase or undertaking any renovation.

Always consult a qualified interior designer for professional advice before making significant purchases or renovations.

ShopTheRoom.ai participates in the eBay Partner Network and may participate in other affiliate programs. Product links displayed in the App may be affiliate links. If you purchase a product through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This does not affect the price you pay or which products are shown to you.

Your content: You retain all ownership rights in photos you upload to ShopTheRoom.ai. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your photos through our AI pipeline solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you.

AI-generated designs: Ownership of AI-generated output is a complex and evolving area of law. We do not claim ownership of redesigned images generated from your photos. However, you may not commercially redistribute AI outputs without our written permission.

Our property: The ShopTheRoom.ai name, logo, app interface, and all original content we produce are protected by copyright and trademark law. All rights reserved.

The App contains links to third-party websites and product listings (e.g., eBay). These links are provided for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, pricing, or terms of third-party sites. Purchasing products from third parties is subject to the respective merchant's terms and policies.

Your use of ShopTheRoom.ai is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

ShopTheRoom.ai is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses. Use at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShopTheRoom.ai and its creators, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or property damage, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) $10 USD or (b) amounts you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months (which, as the App is free, will be $0).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ShopTheRoom.ai, its creators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to our service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from within the App, which will permanently and irreversibly delete all your data.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey, unless mandatory local consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where applicable, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
